I think anything north of 150k for the opening round can be considered a success.

Saw the warriors are doing a st pats day special of 15$ tickets any seatin the stadium. Hopefully this can get some interest, despite it being our first home game, it is the titans so like every other club, I guess we have to be creative on how to attract fans to a game against the titans.

Slater has been ruled out this week.
So nexts week first home game against the Tigs should get a boost, seeing how it’s slaters 300th.

The majority of talk regarding the crowd at Kogarah in the Dragons forum is predicting a crowd of 7-8,000. We got 7,000 vs Penrith last year round 1, and that was a Saturday. I fear the worst

And it had been raining all day. There will be 13K+ given fine weather on Thursday.

Yes it was pissing down most of the day. My arse got wet sitting on the Hill.

I’m confident of a big crowd this year as my phone has been running hot over the weekend with mates eager to attend the game as a group. The Rivalry between the two clubs ensures a good turnout weather permitting of course.

Just read on the nrl app that ‘it is hoped a crowd of close to 30 thousand turns out on saturday’ to watch the Tigers nd roosters. (Article about benjis return possibly being delayed)
Is that in the same vain as ‘it is hoped I find a million dollars in my backyard’?
That’s got to be a very optimistic figure doesn’t it?
Hope I’m wrong though.

Maybe the $20 adult and $40 family tickets promotion will work!?

Benji coming back to the Tigers is huge but dunno if it’s 30k worthy. Maybe if it was 2005 Benji

I think 20-22k is a realistic expectation that’s about it

Also I’m hearing he’ll be named on the bench

The NRL would’ve been hoping to use Slater as a drawcard for the Perth double header so having him out could hurt the attendance.
