With the first pick in the draft, the Cleveland Brown select QB Sam Darnold (USC)

The Browns need their QBOTF and get their pick of the litter, Darnold has all the tools and has great character to be the face of the franchise, he needs to work on his decision making and turnovers

With the 4th Pick the Browns select Saquon Barkley from Penn State..

They've got their QBOTF and could go with a defensive presence like Chubb or Fitzpatrick but there is no way they leave Barkley on the table if he is available.

Colts need to improve their defense, they've got a chance to give the DL with the best defensive player in the draft. He will anchor the young Colts with Hooker and will be a key building block

With the 8th pick the Bears select Minkah Fitzpatrick S Alabama. Safety is not a huge need but Minkah is special and versatile.

With Jackson as well it’s old Bama pair together.

With the 10th pick THE Oakland Raiders select...

Roquan Smith - LB - Georgia.

I was tossing up Tremaine Edmunds because his size and explosive athleticism is just soooo tempting. That kid has a HUGE upside.

But ultimately I went with Smith who’s probably a tad undersized but imo we can play him as our Mike... he’s athletic enough to cover both sides of the field if needed and also hits really hard.

He’s also got great instincts which allow him to drop easily into coverage. I could imagine him and Karl Joseph in the backfield causing HAVOC in the backfield just crushing dudes.

Wanted to get them a QB here, Baker Mayfield would have been good but he's off the board and it's too early for Lamar Jackson. With Suh out of town there is a massive void in the middle of that defence, and i think Vea could play NT in a 3-4 OR DT in a 4-3. Strong hands, great power, can rush and stop the run
He's a fantastic player who fills a need and could survive a scheme change should that come in the next 12 months which i think is likely
