Aaron Woods was ahead of his time when he alluded to the Tigers’ big 17 in 2014:

“Everyone talks about the four (Burgess) brothers, but we’ve got 17 here so we didn’t really care about them.”

Unfortunately the big 17 weren’t able to get the job done that year.

There is no such thing as the Big 17 anywhere in the NRL. It is all a fantasy.

There is only the Big Five backs and the Key Seven forwards, who all play for the glamour club, the Sydney Roosters.

If Ryan Hall can get back to full fitness after his ACL injury, sometime in May, then we could potentially be talking about the Big SIx. The former Leeds and England international winger is a huge awesome beast. He is likely to replace Tongan international and double Grand Final winner Daniel Tupou, or former Australian international Brett Morris, on one of the Sydney Roosters' wing positions. That's how good Ryan Hall is.
