Why is the yellow around the sponsor on the blue jersey a different colour than the yellow stripes?

I think it's nitpicking to worry about the sponsor unless it's hideous (which it isn't) personally.

Sponsors want to stand out, not to be seamlessly integrated. I think these jerseys are a nice balance.

I reckon the major sponsor deal happened too late to be designed and integrated into the jersey. Not that it should have been hard to do.

Agreed. It looks like they ironed on the sponsor logo and couldn’t find the exact colour match. I know they were drawing inspiration from the past but this is taking it a bit too far.

Good jersey. Not the best sponsor integration.

Love the home jersey with the exception of the Sponsor Panel. Would it look better if it had the Away Sponsor Panel? I think it would look so much better particularly when matched with white shorts. Hate the canary yellow panel.
Calling it The Thornett Jersey is a nice way to honour The Mayor and Moby but lots of other great players wore that design so it certainly isnt just synonymous with that great pair.
For the record that jersey had white numbers. I wonder?
