It’s going to be tough backing up from the high of beating Melbourne. We will do well to win this one. It will be close.
Us by 4 to 6 points.

Souths forward pack were great against the Knights and Cook is in outstanding form and we struggled to barely contain them last time. Will the Saints be able to maintain the intensity? It will be a close one either way. Go you Dragons!

Interesting! Hoping the Dragons have to lose at some point and hoping it is this week!

GI and Cody will be very fired up for indigenous round!

Slammin Sam back and I hope he smashes Graham who seems weary currently plus smashes Widdop. If Sam somehow helps us pull off a miracle to somehow win I wouldn't care if he's out another 2 weeks! As long as he gets us over the line in this one!

We got to have AR landing bombs just inside the field play and force them back in the in goal!

Our right edge is vulnerable but I feel our left edge can score points down Aitken and Nightingale' edge. Jennings has lots of pace.

Hoping Cook can show up McInnes with his pace like he did last year in Round 22 and CS this year.

Cookie needs to exploit the Dragons tired big men. AJ must support!

Wouldn’t surprise if souths got up here. Mainly cause saints have had 3 big games in a row and this will be a let down. No atmosphere, lower opponent etc. Souths have points in them so Saints will need to be on.
I agree with this. Big test for us next weekend.

Souths would have come away from the first game knowing they can beat the Dragons.
And they can.
Problem is they played a side that was physically exhausted. I expect the Dragons to be a much tougher opposition this time round.

Completely agree vic. Souths are a bloody dangerous side and one of the last sides we want to be playing after such a big few weeks. Nightingale still a huge vulnerability in defence but otherwise saints have been much improved on their own try line of late.
It doesn't get any easier either-souths, raiders and then panthers away.

If we can control the ruck area and don't allow Cook to run with his blistering speed from dummy half.
If we can run our attacking plays to the bunnies right edge, then we should score a few try's there.
If Hunt can kick to open space and force the big bunnies forwards pack to constantly back peddle.
Then it will be Dragons 13+

Otherwise, it will be a close game, Dragons by 2
