Correct. .Starling isn't impacting the play (under the ruling) because obviously there's no way Dufty is even paying attention to him when he's 8m behind the two onside players who are about to pound hi into the earth.

Realistically Starling isn't going for the ball. He's just down there as part of the kick chase. I much prefer the rule as it is now, personally.
