It would be awesome if they also broadcast the Fance NZ test and the PM's vs PNG game but this is better than a few years ago when the NZ v Eng games only got aired after a few people protested at lack of coverage.

Has the France v NZ test actually been confirmed?
If so, where and when is it on?

Was slated for Narbonne the 17th Nov, they refused, then Toulon, then cancelled. COuldn't reach an agreement between the ffrxiii, the Dragons and the kiwis apparently.

- Fox have all four tests at Mt Smart - Jnrs, Womens and Mens AUS v NZ on the 13th, and AUS v TON on the 20th
- FTA will take the Womens (GEM) and Mens (9) tests on the 13th, but still TBC on the AUS v TON test (guide isn't out for next week yet)
- Fox will take three of the four England tests as far as I understand.

No TV broadcast in Aus for the England-France game at Leigh on Oct 17.

Then we get people questioning why the international game is nowhere near as big as SOO. The NRL is already advertising SOO for 2019 and has been for months. For international matches you find out the broadcast details a week before and you’re lucky to even see an ad for it. Even NRL.com does a shitty job advertising it.

That plus all the people involved in the game have either lost interest or actively talk it down. Such a waste.

Isn't the Tonga test sold out?

That fact surely flies in the face of some of your sky-is-falling assertions?

International league has went from rating as well as SOO in the early 90s to rating little more than a regular high profile NRL match today. I think that about sums up the situation.

A single game selling out doesn’t really change that fact. Rugby league in Australia has declined massively and in NZ it’s hard to argue the international game is thriving.

That’s not sky is falling stuff that’s just a fact. The game isn’t dead but it has been left to stagnate and we haven’t capitalised in its potential.

Edit: I’ll admit that data is cherry picked. Still it’s hard to deny that international league has significantly declined in the last few decades.
