2019 Jerseys/Logos/Sponsorships

I love the idea of the knights away. But the execution leaves it looking very red-heavy.

@gzerounian how would it look if the blue “fill” on the away jersey was changed to white, but then the chest stripes alternated red and blue. Does that make sense? So it would be red shoulders, thin white stripe, blue stripe, white stripe, red stripe...etc

It didn't matter so much for their vertical stripe jersey because the entire Jersey was the same, but to have NIB covering up 70% of the only feature of this jersey is a shame.

What confuses me is having the same colour on the shoulders. It's the number one thing visible on a jersey from the primary camera position (hence Souths' jerseys for the last ten years). Silly stuff.

More teams will need to start leaving the upper part clean and putting the design features down below the sponsor. Sponsor on the chest, chevrons on the belly

To simply replicate a retro design is lazy. It needed a modern take as Nuke had mentioned earlier in this thread. Makes the whole smoke screen countdown build-up to the release of this jersey laughable...particularly seeing as though it is almost identical to last years heritage jersey.

Agree about the build-up. The reveal was underwhelming to say the least.

With white shorts and socks (and even white side panels) I don't think it would look that bad.

They already do influence it though - worse than that, they ruin it! Compare the Knights jersey to the Panthers one. Panthers one looks way better

still keep same design tho, with the Storm they allowed their sponsors to actually dictate/ruin there iconic Jersey- the sponsor box got so high and large that not only did they first have the lower the lightning bolts, they than had to remove them all together.. the one team that actaully had part of their 'team name' in a design had to lose it... Make a jersey THEN put the sponsor on, not the other way round...

ps- if you need white shorts OR socks, youre doing it wrong...

A little disappointed the flood gates haven't opened just yet. Last year almost everything from at least the ISC teams was out there before 9am. Savvy Supporter hasn't put anything out since saying today was the day and to stay tuned.

Home kit looks great. Away kit will help with any blue kit clashes but wont be great for TV against any clubs with red jerseys? Maybe there arnet any predominantly red shoulder jerseys in NRL this year?
