Purple Pricks. Could be worse.

Based on recent history, it's most likely to be used in the phrase "Those purple pricks beat us again".
I'm fairly sure storm fans will be able to live with that.

Purple brick have also sponsored Scottish Rugby in the past. Maybe they look for teams with purple in them to sponsor. Cadbury sponsored the hurricanes in the big bash this year and it looks great when the sponsors colours are the same as the team. Maybe Perth Glory and Sydney King's are on their radar too. Many years ago I did mockups of teams choosing sponsors in their club colours. I chose Cadbury for the storm and had a few others that I can't remember.

Theres rules on have alcohol sponsors on kids jerseys isnt there? and advertising at certain spots? might be a reason we dont see as much of it

Gold Coast Titans home jumper looks very similar to Cowboys! ? Much prefer the lighter blue colour with teal look. Oh well! and gasp for a club still establishing it's local identity and sadly struggling for consistency in their look through their colours.

Scottish Rugby fans would have an issue with you referring to their traditional colours as purple
