I know it's probably sponsor position related and for a one off jersey St.George bank have lowered their position on the jersey, but I wish our regular jersey went to a full V like this one does.

Not sponsor related at all- it was done 2 years ago

And the year before that on the heritage...

The xblades template should make it even easier with the way the vee doesn’t go over the shoulders. It’s their choice to have the cut-in-half vee, nothing to do with sponsor or design limitations.

I'd go one step further and just let them play in their normal dark blue jersey. Like you said, a single poppy on the sleeve or sprig of rosemary (which is more for Anzac day rather than the poppy for Remembrance day) is all that's needed. IMO all of the Anzac jerseys are tacky.

Yeh, I know we did it in 2017 and we've done it on heritage jerseys in the past but the actual jersey had a much more shallow V than that mock up does.


St.George bank came on as a majors sponsor in 2004, with 2004 being the exception, from 2005 onwards the St.George bank logo has been moved right up the chest, as you can see in these photos.



You can even see in the heritage jersey and the Anzac jersey, compared to regular jersey that the sponsor is higher up.

Would love to see the full V done properly though. Roosters do it really well.

I guess the fact that part of the money goes to anzac appeal helps with sales

I think ‘ugliest’ is an exaggeration but it’s not great either. I do appreciate having a purple-dominant jersey, especially since the club likes talking about ‘the purple jersey’ despite wearing navy.

The lightning bolts should be inside the navy V and elongated a little so the jagged part sits outside the club and NRL logos. f**k off the poppies while we’re at it. You only need one.

Who will buy it? Me because I have a sickness when it comes to buying jerseys. That’s how I justify it at least. Probably won’t wear it - I’ve never worn last year’s one.
