I like the Roosters here. The Defending Premiers generally start well as their prep gets serious a month before everyone else due to the WCC. Souths forward depth is very sketchy and missing one Burgi will test it. Easts by 8

If I was Tedesco I’d be very worried about playing on the SCG after watching the Union game on it last night.

He’s done his knee before playing on a much better surface.

Good point.

His sudden and quick directional changes on a bad surface is a recipe for disaster. Hopefully he’s fine. any player with a similar running style is also at risk.

Apparently Inglis will play on the right to oppose Mitchell. It would be a good matchup if it was Inglis 5-10 years ago, but Mitchell makes even young, quality defenders look shit, so it could get ugly for old Greg. His only hope may be the turf giving way.
