Do the teams this week still have to reduce their squads from 21 to 19, 24 hours before kick-off?

Souths and Newcastle will effectively have less than 20 hours from the completion of the Origin match to decide if they want their Origin players backing up on Friday evening. I can't see them leaving it to an hour before kickoff.

Whether or not Ponga, Walker, Cook, etc back up will have a massive bearing on the result IMO.

Shame this is right after Origin. Could have been a top game, could turn into a bit of a wet fart

Tipping Knights on the back of Pearce

Knights are in red hot form and hopefully the bye hasn't stopped their momentum. Souths have some injuries and a few backing up from SOO. This will be huge for the Knights if they can win this game and with extra incentive of beating Wayne.

The fact that Burgess is getting surgery after the game says to me Souths will rest a few of their Origin stars

Knights have only played one of the stand out top 3 and considering how many they had out can’t read too much into that

If only one of Cook/Walker are rested will still back Souths, otherwise thinking Knights

Huge test for our pack with Klemmer likely to be out.

If we can at least match them in the middle it’ll be huge for us especially considering the amount of times they’ve monstered us over the last 7 or 8 years.
