Raiders continue to impress and think they’re a bad matchup for the loose Warriors. Tipping this could be a blow out. Canberra by 22.

Canberra just got done doing over Penrith at home ending a huge winning streak, so they have shown they can travel to tough opposition and win this year. They'll get up by 12

"Warriors CEO Cameron George has asked the NRL for a please-explain over several calls in their loss to the Eels, and urged Kiwi fans to attend next Friday's clash with Canberra dressed as referees"

lol.

Warriors for me.

Canberra were well up for Penrith and they have a massive 3 week's after this.

I think they will have a natural let down after Sunday and lose by 8

Telling Warriors fans to bring whistles to the game.

Doesn't he realise that our players are dumb enough to hear a whistle in the crowd and stop playing?

What genius gave us a 5 day turn around on a trip to NZ.

Fatigue will be a factor but if we can maintain our defence we can frustrate the warriors out of the game.

Interesting Raiders saved up some of their Football Dept cap (do other clubs stick to this:eek:) by crimping on 40 hour Darwin fly in/fly outs (which backfired) so we could fly out Monday & do a full camp in NZ to prepare... So they are trying to mitigate the turnaround at the back end of the season vs during Origin when we at least had some byes.

I'm pretty confident we can come away with the win here but am worried what the refs are going to do... i.e. give the warriors a a few 'I'm Sorry' gifts.

At the very least you can expect the penalty count to be squared up for the majority of the game. It'll go back and forth like a ping pong ball designed to look entirely impartial.

Fully expect the warriors to be allowed to throw peyton manning passes down field and five in the tackle strips

I'm starting to feel a little sorry for the raiders.

With all this sooking about the refs you just kmow the warriors will get all the calls

I don't think they will. Penalty count will be kept close, that's for sure but they still have to ref the game. They'll probably get two friendly calls- which will only count if the game is right on the line at the end...

Raiders need to put them away or keep a 8 point buffer into the final 5-10 minutes.

It's not the penalty counts. They can be referred to later and so the smarter refs keep them close. It's the 50/50s that often determine results of games. Why refs feel obliged to do this is beyond me.

We have been sooking about the refs for a while now and we still get no calls.
