Now that the Roosters cannot finish anywhere but 2nd, will we see some players rested? Like Teddy and/or Cronk? Maybe send the Bears out?

I expect a couple of key players to be rested

We could really do with your mob turning up, our run lately has been way too soft for finals preparation.

Teddy won’t be rested, he’s favorite for the Dally M. Cronk or Keary might be.

Either way Robinson was pretty filthy with their second half performance last night so will still be taking this seriously.

Crooks by 18.

We'll lose, and by a big margin - Wouldn't even matter if the Chooks rested 1-17 and played their CC side, we'd still lose, and lose well.

Roosters most likely romp it in unless they just want to save themselves for Rabbitohs and the finals coming up.

Penrith have basically reverted to playing like strangers again lately, like the first 10 rounds. No discipline with or without the ball. Can only hope playing the Roosters inspires a better effort and some real energy but even then a comfortable loss is the only likely outcome.

Practically another GF for the Panthers. My faith in the team says we'll zing-in an upset to win by 4. But the realistic observations of the Penrith side of the past month is reeking of inexperience, which is what you get when you're cleaning up after someone else's mistakes. And even with youthful exuberance, that won't make up for the gap between the both sides. Easts comfortably by 24...the Panthers form as been simply poor.

Someone at the NRL Stats department is gunna lose their job

https://www.nrl.com/draw/nrl-premiership/2019/round-24/roosters-v-panthers/
The NRL site also stated (in a preview) that the last meeting between these sides was won 32-6 by the Roosters. They get more wrong than right.

Edit: I think this stat is only in the NRL era or in recent years, since they show Panthers having played 0 matches at the ground.

The play-off for 5th place 1985 V Manly should be counted as a win, because it was an official match albeit a non competition game.

We are shown as never having played at the venue, whereas we've played 10 (including 2 finals) for one win and one draw, the most recent visit there being in May 1987.
