Exactly

He is hoping one or both have peaked in March and will fall away.

He will be disappointed.
It's a long season. The first 10 rounds are basically trials played for premiership points. Can't be too cocky now. Rabbitohs 2015 come to mind.

Wait until their teams come up against the Storm.
The Storm were no more than workmanlike, except for Munster who's a superstar. It should have been 2-all at halftime, they were gifted their first 2 tries, one by us, the other by the bunker. The third one was a gift of possession in our half. The Panthers heads dropped after that. The Storm were denied a fair try so it could have been worse.

I don’t think that’s entirely true. No doubt there is a reason that ‘match premiers’ has become such an ongoing joke but that doesn’t mean the games are irrelevant. Also I’d say they probably tell you more about the loszing sides. How often do teams start the year looking like garbage only to become a premiership great? Not often I’m guessing.

As a storm fan I’m not getting ahead of myself. If anything our early form is just reassuring that we might not see a total collapse post the big 3. So far we have managed to weather the loss of both cronk and slater and seem ok.

Roosters last year took ages to get going.
Cows in 2015 lost their first 3.
Parramatta in 2009 made the GF, losing to a cheated up team, having won 3 of their first 11 games.
Wests in 2005 were 14th after 9 games.
Panthers in 2003 were the first team in history to win the minor premiership having run last.
It actually happens quite a lot.

100% agree

Just saying that the roosters have nowhere near peaked.

Panthers still have plenty of time to get on track.

Honestly, what the f**k is going on with the knock on rule this year?

It seems in every game so far that any kind of fumble is ruled a knock on, irrespective of the direction the ball goes.
Except one the storm scored from against the Broncos in Round 1. I reckon most of the time that would have been called a knock on as well. I agree that they tend to call anything dropped ball a knock on these days.
