So a very positive day for the NRL today! Queensland giving the green light is a massive win, that means they can basically play like they did in Round 2 and they won't have to relocate. That's huge!!

I'm quite confused about the Warriors scenario though. Seems like they've agreed to come, V'Landys says they'll be on a plane on Sunday and Tamworth airport and accepted them to come. But then the Aus PM comes out and says nothing has been approved. That's really confusing. So who approves it and what happens from here? Can anyone explain?

Finally, it seems things with the players have been sorted. Again, a big win for the NRL! They will all attend the info day on Monday but training may now not start until a few days later and that is fair enough in my opinion as players need time to process things.

So still some stuff to be sorted but all round a positive day!

‘Relieved’ Warriors CEO reveals biosecurity measures as minister issues stern warning: https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nr...y/news-story/bf5ec8db45ab24cd04ba37cc7ee88e3a

From Sporting News,

NRL yet to get green light from New South Wales government

New South Wales health minister Brad Hazzard said the NRL still had work to do if it wanted to resume its season in the state.

Queensland cleared the NRL to resume training ahead of potentially restarting its campaign on May 28, while the New Zealand Warriors were on Saturday given an exemption to travel to Australia.

However, New South Wales is home to 10 NRL clubs and the league is yet to be given the green light by the state government.

"At this point, they still have to satisfy New South Wales Health and present the appropriate details on how they're going to make this work," Hazzard told a news conference on Saturday.

"I would like to see all sport back if we could do it, but how do they do it and make sure people are kept safe?"

The Warriors will observe the mandatory two-week quarantine on their arrival in New South Wales on Sunday.

Australia has seen more than 6,700 cases of coronavirus, including 93 deaths.

Awesome news today for sure.

Credit to the Warriors to for selflessly putting the comp first and foremost.

Well done to the NRL as well as they’re gonna allow the Warriors players family come over as well to where they’ll be based on the Central Coast after they isolate in Tamworth for 14 days.
