I’m not sure if it’s just because my team has been so underwhelming, but I feel like the standard has dropped this year.

I have a theory that it’s related to COVID, and the disruption that this has caused in a semi professional comp.

Hopefully things get back on track next year. If the NRL had the funds it might be worthwhile expanding the comp, but with everything that’s happened this year those funds probably aren’t available.
