the commentary is so bad. they go on and on about that kick by Hankcock (which was great, but nothing about the great carry to get back to the field of play/.
Having been around the womens game for 4 years its really telling that the commentators know very little

Its a fair first game, a few too many mistakes but some good footy too.

dragons were favorites , well done roosters, they have put a lot of work in, you can tell, great team effort

They looked like they were coached by Mary.

Playing Tungai at 5/8 was a real success wasn't it as was getting Kelly who hasn't played a good game in 3 years. Lacey and Patmore are too full of themselves

Feeney really know what he is doing, a great coach and great man.

Tungai at 5/8 was definitely a weird one. Can’t really see the value when our 7 isn’t controlling the game.

Maddy did ok, but its hard to do it by yourself.
I think maybe the arrogance of the coaches permeated down a bit and they just expected to win

They’ve set us up with a very flat structure. Would have liked to see Maddy adjust it for the rushing defence. But you’re probably right, the onus should fall on the coaching staff.
