- We'll finish in the bottom four
- Klemmer and Ponga will be our only rep players
- Phoenix Crossland will finish the year strong at 5/8
- Bradman Best will fail to live up to the hype and will wind up being the second coming of Sione
- Ponga will leave the club at the end of the year
- We'll all be calling for another rebuild

  • Brailey's recruitment will pay dividends
  • Guerra will be a mainstay
  • Breakout year for Herman Ese' Ese
  • Crossland will be our 5/8 by years end
  • Ponga will take up the option to stay another year
  • Momoisea and Hoy will debut
  • Sione will be a permanent fixture in the side ( Adam O'brien the 6th coach to have faith in him )
  • Watson to remain in the 14
  • Knights to finish in 6th place

- Knights to finish top 4
- Bradman Best to score 15 tries
- Glasby and Fitzgibbon to play less than 50% of the games because they aren't good enough
- Pearce to play Origin again

Meh... I'm always wrong anyway.

Every year I have high hopes for us and end up being bitterly disappointed so this year I’m going to set my expectations a little lower, here goes...

- Brailey will suffer a season ending injury in his first tackle

- Ponga will sign with Wayne Bennett and will leave mid-season because a third party deal with his milkshake sponsor falls though.

- Pearce will have another Australia Day episode and will be caught in bed with a bluefin tuna and will be sacked

- Klemmer will realise what a big mistake he has made and will leave for the roosters

- Paul Gallen will be assigned to commentate on all of our games and will go to great lengths to explain how right he was about how bad we are and how we’re still 18 years away from being a finals team

- We will win 3 of our first 4 games thus getting everyone’s hopes up (again) and then lose 18 of the next 20 to come last (again)

- We will be caught rorting the salary cap because we didn’t advise the nrl of Ponga’s milkshake sponsor and will be stripped of all competition points for our 5 wins

- The stadium will fall down due to termites in the woodwork (luckily it will happen on a weekday so no one is hurt)

- The club will go bankrupt and will be relocated to the Ukraine as part of the NRL’s new expansion plans

There... Now that I’ve set my expectations I can’t see how I can possibly be disappointed by season 2020... right?

That sounds pretty spot on

I thought I couldn't be anymore wounded by my team based on their performance over the past few seasons, but if these events come to pass I'll be headfirst in a vat of methylated spirits by the end of the season.

You should also add Jesse Ramien racking up a 4-try haul in his first game against us just to be certain.

I'm going to add another one actually. I'm gonna back Pearce to really step up and graduate from mental midget to inspirational leader.

Sorry Mr_Knightside - I just can't go along with this at all...

McDonald Jones Stadium is an all concrete and steel structure, so termites can not possibly cause the collapse of this stadium
