Top 8
1. Roosters - should continue their winning ways, great coach, great backs and a very experienced and tough forward pack.
2. Storm - will be up there as usual with Smith making the most of it in probably his final year.
3. Eels - have been building up to something special this year, dangerous all over the park.
4. Manly - unlucky with injuries and refs calls, they beat those and they'll be there in September.
5. Rabbitohs - lost some muscle but gained a Latrell, still not enough I think.
6. Wests - new lineup could fire up or fizzle, should be entertaining though.
7. Canberra - might well finish higher, bit of a smokey.
8. Brisbane - it's between them and the Sharkies for this spot, Great young forwards but who's going to steer them ?

The rest
9. Cronulla - lost a lot of experience and have some internal turmoil to overcome, who knows though, have a fairly good squad.
10. Penrith - I'll wait to see a few games but I think they'll struggle.
11. Knights - I always want this team to do well but it's been so long since they did.
12. Dragons - lost Widdop, losing hope. Will underachieve yet again because Mary.
13. NQ - unpredictable.
14. Dogs - could finish higher with some new faces but it's wait and see.
15. Warriors - another team I'd like to see do well but not this year, poor roster.
