Some interesting trivia about this game:

1. The Broncos stand to equal their club record of 8 consecutive defeats, originally set against this same opponent in week 1 of the finals in 2003, a game the Broncos lost after leading 18-2. At the same time the Panthers stand to set a new club record of 12 successive wins.
2. This will be the 6th time running these sides have met at Suncorp. One of those was a final, all the others regular season games. Brisbane have won 4 from 5.
3. The points start being offered to Brisbane for this game (20.5) is less than one score short of their biggest ever defeat against this opponent (46-20 in 2004).

For what it's worth, I expect the Broncos to come out snarling before being outclassed in the second half.

Panthers by as many as they want
Honestly the lesser teams tend to bring out our ugly footy. We win kind of comfortably in the end but never look that good.

I wouldnt be expecting a 50+ performance like the Roosters would do to Broncos. I expect the game will be close for 60ish minutes before Panthers put it to bed due to superior fitness more than anything.

Unfortunately we will probably still celebrate the win and cause harm to our premiership chances.
