Even PRs beloved AFL has moved a game to Ballarat this coming weekend due to Covid lockdowns .
They had a bit more notice than the NRL games on the weekend ..lol as if that'll matter
He will praise how great the AFL did taking a game to the country while trashing the NRL for moving games with little notice .
Agenda on show again .

The AFL game in Ballarat was always scheduled in the Fixture. The game that moved due to the Brisbane lockdown was last Thursdays game where Brisbane played in Melbourne at Marvel instead of the 'Gabba, on only a few days notice.

All leagues will have to be very proactive and have plans in place to be prepared for any COVID related re-scheduling requirements. The NRL was fairly fortunate in that COVID did not impact NSW and QLD in 2020 as significantly as states like VIC, with the competition being able to operate effectively within the northern states. The AFL was scrambling constantly with border issues in WA and VIC for most of the year, giving them more experience in dealing with rescheduling games on the fly and having the personnel and infrastructure set up to cope with that. The NRL is now facing that more and will also get better the more these instances arise. A difference this year is that crowds are coming back into that framework. The fans just have to be patient and roll with the punches, we're just fortunate the game continues going on and being able to attend, it's great!

Penrith a sell out for tonight. Normally that would mean 21,500 but maybe there are still spacing rules on the hills.

Fully seated stadiums are 100% capacity. Bankwest should sell out or go close, but that probably means 22-25000.

Surely the Warriors move back to Auckland. Are there any restrictions to travel or crowd size over there now?

The Titans look like they are going to draw one of their largest crowds against the knights in many years, I can’t be bothered to drag up the statistics but the ticketek map looks pretty good.
