Gotta say, Walsh looks the better future player in attack but his defence was shocking in the weekend.

Not sure you'd want him in the road of Matterson or Papalii right from ball one?

Despite all clubs being clearly instructed that players who left the bubble would not be eligible for Magic Round, the problem has 'magically' disappeared.

My understanding is that the NRL did NOT 'clearly instruct' clubs that players leaving the bubble to play NSW Cup would be ineligible to play in Magic Round... Moreso that clubs risked such a scenario if they let them play NSW Cup last week if the snap 3 day Greater Sydney lockdown measures were extended... Which we now know they were. The Eels banked on the 3 day lockdown being all she wrote, but lost... And at the end of the day though, they won... And, if really desperate, they could have taken the 2 squads up to QLD separately on Tuesday (for arguments sake) and then trained as a squad given the different restrictions up there...
