Apart from some crap refereeing, how good has this been? Both teams absolutely exhausted in those last 10 minutes. How good is daytime footy! In the regular season we hardly ever see two top teams play during the day because the idiotic scheduling rules mean the top matchups each weekend almost always go to the nighttime slots.

Rugby league at its best is played with the sun still out.
2nd half will test these teams fitness, expect some real slowing down....

Penrith's scramble is great. Storm look like the Knights atm with how bad they're f**king up their backline plays.

Yeah it was enjoyable, but Sutton has completely lost control. The ruck is an absolute disaster.

Melbourne is well into the minuses in metres post held being called. Ironically enough refs are usually quick to call back anyone that walks forward off the mark

Yeah it isn’t great, but it’s just massive errors on the crucial moments. Clean that up and we win

Souths should be fancying their chances next week, whoever wins out of this. Storm have looked drained and Panthers have squandered at least a few prime chances to increase their lead when close to the line.

My favourite part of that half and this season is how Munster gets to play by his own set of rules.

Only he can hit a bloke high and not get penalised for it. Falling or not. That's always a penalty. Especially with a stop in play to see it and rule live.
Smugfer fans complaining about refereeing after last week is my dinner for tonight. Too much salt for my arteries but so delicious

Seems like the refs showing bias for 1 team not even on the field. South's. Both these teams are rooted, getting smashed, wrestled and knocked around to oblivion.

This reffing is just turning this into the RL equivalent of 11 Marco Materazzis playing 11 Marco Materazzis
