Dogs had a surprising amount of ball in the Manly 20, but are obviously very pedestrian.

In saying that, Manly had 6 tries disallowed, 4 of them correctly.

Yeah, it was a massacre, and a well deserved one for Trent.

To leave Manly as he did…. To now be on an absolute hiding by that team, coaching the cellar-dwellers….

I can see why this is viewed by some as well deserved.

In terms of the scoreline, yes.

But Canterbury are rubbish and nobody expected much else of them this season.

In terms of a massacre when you consider the occasion, the side playing and the fact that 95% of the capacity home crowd was behind them:
