Congrats to our four boys Latrell, Cookie, Cam, and Campbell on their selections once again!! Holding your spot in Origin is an achievement in itself. It's a shame to see Keaon not there in the squad but he'd be the next in line no doubt. He may even get called into the squad again like last time.

Still, you can't argue with who they've brought in. A very strong, settled squad.

I really think Campbells excellent play the last couple of weeks is the result of the confidence he would have gained from being selected in the squad for the first game. Holding his spot in the squad is only going to further boost that.

Just wanna say a quick congrats to Gags for retaining his spot and to Jai for making it into the starting squad this time, awesome stuff from our lads and it once again makes me proud! A shame to see Su'A dropped but there's no doubt he deserves it, has a lot of work to do to even get back into our 17 first.

In regards to the Queensland squad, it's hard to say whether it's better than Game 1 on paper or not. I don't agree with some selections like picking Capewell in the centres again or having McCullough start. Picking Reece Walsh is a huge risk too, possibly the biggest gamble in Origin history! I agree that he's an absolute freak and will probably be one of the best players in the comp within the next three years but to hand him his Origin debut at 18 years of age, with only about seven games under his belt is a huge risk. Not to mention he's coming into a side that was last beaten by 50, in one of the most important positions on the field to keep the series alive. Seesh, no pressure.

I believe it's stronger.
Walsh is a better FB than Holmes imo who is elite on the wing.
Papalii is a big addition.
Fifita off the bench is dangerous.
I don't believe there is a better option than Capewell unfortunately for Qld. If Green can put together a strong defensive gameplan though he will be pivotal.
McCullough and Hunt will likely share time at hooker. Grant will be a big loss though.
Arrow on an edge is a defensive decision i believe.
Munster also has 3 games under his belt now and will be keen to fire.
It can be stronger and looks a little defensive but if Qld can turn the game into a grind, they'll be in with a chance.

I suspect an ambush at Suncorp.
As a Blues fan I didn’t want Walsh to get the #1 instead would have preferred Holmes to keep it. Walsh is a gun
As well as the addition of Papali’i don’t forget Welch got injured early so they basically get they’re whole front row back.
McCullough is a workhorse in defence and will most likely be egged onto run a bit as will hunt from #9

far stronger team imo and at Suncorp I can see QLD winning.
Suncorp and QCB Stadium are two entirely different arenas for the Blues

On the back of what I said previous Munster is the danger man as is DCE
We (NSW) had a dream start off the kick off and I don’t think we will get that in this game


In saying all that - NSW do have a few game breakers as well as probably the two form players in the Comp in Cleary & Turbo

Can’t discount also JAC, Latrell, Luai, Teddy and hopefully Cook can have a few runs and put the QLD defence on the back foot early maybe with a scoot from Teddy to follow it up then Latrell or Turbo after

Man, Origin never fails to deliver on drama!!

Walsh is a huge loss for Queensland! Yes, I know he's 18 and they now have a more experienced guy stepping in but Walsh is a freak and I was feeling like he'd shine tomorrow night. It also completely ruins Queensland's preparation as their attacking and defensive structures have just gone out the window the day before a huge game.

I know they're playing at Suncorp and I know you can never write them off but I really can't see how Queensland win this sadly.
