Origin game day once again so happy Origin day everyone!!

Very keen for tonight. Although I can't see Queensland winning, I really feel like they're going to make a game of it and we could be in for a good one tonight. At least, I hope so anyway.

This is absolutely disgraceful. It's a joke really. Why was this not picked up earlier? Why has it only been discovered on the day of a huge game like this? This kid would have been dreaming of this day his whole life and it's now been destroyed on the day of the game. Yes, rules are rules and we should stick by them but why has it taken until now?

In saying that, the rules were bent for Suaalii in the NRL and Tamou in Origin so why can't a similar thing happen here?

Queensland's preparation is now in complete chaos. They are perhaps in a worse spot preparation wise than they were for Game 1 which is very concerning.

It's messy the way that it played out but the kid only spent 3 years of his life living in Qld. The eligibility rules are already pretty loose and allowing him to play would only make them even more of a joke.

My issue is with the fact that they named him and then pulled the rug out from under him. They should have been on the ball and aware of possible problems before letting it go that far.

I might go for Queensland in Origin and will always cheer for them but jeez I'm glad I'm not a passionate Queenslander or I'd be absolutely spewing today!! That really was terrible for them last night. Better than Game 1 but still shockingly bad for an Origin team.

I know there were disruptions in the 24 hours before kick off for them but that is not an excuse for what they dished up out there. After a bright, passionate and intense start, it just completely evaporated and that was it, they folded. Not the required intensity in defence and they had nothing on attack. It looked like they'd never played together. I'd argue that the Maroons had a worse team on paper last year but they won that series on effort and that famous 'Queensland spirit.' However, that is simply not there this year, they don't play like an Origin side.

NSW were a complete contrast, I'd even say this side is up there with one of the Blues best. They're just that good. This is on track to be the most dominant series win in history.

Or NSW Rabbitohs shone again last night, none more so than Trell. Once again, it was a performance of the ages from him. Pure domination. Murray played well and despite a couple of errors, I'd have him in my top five players last night, his defence was insane! Cookie didn't stand out but still had a good game, he didn't have to stand out. For Queensland, Gags had a mixed game with some good moments but he still got dominated by his Souths teammate and Jai did okay. A few defensive errors but his running game was strong.

Oh well, that's the series wrapped up and a potential white wash incoming. Jeez Queensland are in some trouble.

Like I posted above, the thing that makes Trell most like GI is that he has another level he can go to in Origin. It's like when Michael Knight pushes the turbo boost button in KITT.
