With the competitions starting tomorrow, the NSWRL only named only 4 teams - Mounties, Wests, Hills and Windsor, while club websites provide the Wenty and St Marys sides. There are only about 7 players named for Cabramatta.

For some reason, the website has only 9 clubs as participating in RMC as Glebe-Burwood and Ryde Eastwood dont exist in the system, so it will be interesting to see if the system is turned on this weekend for the games those clubs participate in.

Interesting to see that Isaac Thompson is the only player to survive in the Windsor team that was belted by the Silktails last year, so Windsor should be much more competitive this season.

There are more than 20 players that trialled with Newtown in the preseason that have not been selected in NSW Cup, so Glebe Burwood should have a competitive team.

^ Hawks are up.

In regards to Glebe, did the merger end? They're just referred to as 'Dirty Reds' now, with no mention of Wolves

The Ryde Eastwood team SS team is in the system but the club, like Glebe, still does not exist in the system for RMC.

Given that they no longer play any games at Concord, the completion of the Glebe takeover was logical, however, I notice that the Glebe Burwood Wolves facebook page continues to post.

I'm guessing the teams will be updated when the ground managers confirm the teams 1 hour before kick off.

Any match reports?
Looks like Windsor might struggle as well as cabra
Were brothers good? It does look like ryde ss side was a bit ordinary.

Team lists suggests Wests and Cabra will be at the bottom. Hills had 8 from North Sydney so that Tim Robinson and Daniel Harrison were not in the 17. The Guy on Fox claimed that Marshke played RMC on saturday and NSW Cup today but actually Jesse in RMC and Ben in NSW Cup. Wenty have picked up where they left off in Presidents Cup, certainly not top 4 material.

Ryde SS have no more than a handful from last years squad with many of that team now in RMC. Brothers have a few useful players. Similarly, virtually no one left at Cronulla Caringbah.

I was wondering if brothers were ok. Their massey team always looked a like a good ss side :)
Some of the new names i knew of at Ryde lead me to think they might not be great.
Not surprised about cronulla had a feeling very few were going to go round again and they loaded up with glebe left overs

Looks as though there's at least 9 who played yesterday who featured in 2020.Lichaa to be added once returning from injury.
Blacktown on paper are far better then they have produced in recent times.Impressive victory from Ryde there.

Given the new procedure that RMC and SS teams are only revealed 1 hour before the game, unlike NRL, NSW Cup and even the kiddies grades, that are all uploaded on Tuesday afternoon, it becomes impossible to analyse player movements before the start of the competition, however, it is possible after the first round is completed. A seismic shift has occurred for the 2 teams that competed in the SS GF in 2020.

The Ryde Eastwood side has been decimated by that clubs entry into RMC. 7 players from the GF team - Curtis Wilson, Brad Cousins, Adam Risk, Mitch Gray, Langi Suli Ruka, Justin Frain and Angus McElroy, played RMC yesterday, as did another two - Josh Boumelham and Suliasi Suli, who played in earlier games but where not selected for the GF, as well as Josh Risk, who played in the 2019 GF team. Regan Hughes is likely to be added as the season progresses, as he travelled to Canberra, to act as 18th man for NSW Cup. Another in the RMC team, Tony Tali played for RE in the Challenge Cup last season but was not seen again.

Reg Alifipo was the only member of the GF team to play SS yesterday, although Kirk Patton who played a number of games over the last 2 seasons, was also included.

Cronulla Caringbah, on the other hand, attracted players due to the unique scheduling in 2020

Their Grand Final team was:

1 Callum Tutauha 2 Brent Anderson 3 Nesi Maitatonga 4 Jacob Gagan 5 Daniel Perkins 6 Kamren Cryer 7 Bailey hayward 8 Hayden Fepulai 9 Michael Lichhaa 16 Mason Pure 12 james Spencer 13 DJ Lokeni Purcell 11 Ben Chahoud 17 Lachlan Hughes 15 Matt Emery 10 Tokerau Raru 24 Joe Tramontana

Another 4 played in the Semi Final but not in the GF - Jyi Seymour, Ryan King, Blake Williamson, Wiremu Peters.

Another 14 played during the 8 rounds - Panami Manumaleelii, Tom Carr, Bronson Garlick, Rea Pittman, Dane Malone, Paul McClory, Luis Strickland, Brad Whetters, Hayden Preece, Kruse Robinson, Jeremy Saville, Corey Jefferys, Richard Irwin and Rewi Brown.

Of these 35 players only Tutauha, Perkins, Lokeni Purcell, Manumaleelii and Pittman played for the club on saturday.

Ben Marshke played 70 minutes for Hills on Saturday night then backed up for Norths on Sunday after Freddy Lussick was a late withdrawal

It's not "new procedure" its the same thing that's been happening in Round 1 for a few years - for whatever reason clubs or the league are having a nightmare (or just being lazy) to load players.

Going forward most teamlists should appear Tuesdays as normal, but the only guarantee of a full team lineup in any grade (NSW Cup Flegg etc included) is an hour before kickoff.

The reason you're seeing full lineups in Ball, Matts etc (and even then, one game in Ball didnt have teamlists til Sat arvo) is because those comps are 7 weeks in now.

Another 2 returning this week from last years side.
For the 3 inclusions for Cronulla, 1 is a former Nrl player,1 is a former Super League player.
To add to the squad with already NRL and Cup experience.
