Sunday night killer timeslot.
No, unfortunately there is Souths v Canterbury in Round 18, it's after origin 3 so there's no TNF (and nine only shows 2 games to make up for the rounds they show 4)That it is.
One more to go and then that is it with them for the year

After origin 1 there is Liz's Birthday so still only 2 games on nine but no Sunday Night
Thoughts on Eels replacing Dragons on QB game????
Thursday. This is where perth as 18th team could fit. A 6pm game on sunday is 3pm or 4pm ko in perth. At lest half the slots could be played at a decent local time.Been thinking, what's worse, Sunday or Thursday nights????
The seats at Commbank are deceiving. They make it look like there's noone there when there's actually quite a decent number. How did the Parra vs St George game have 19k in attendance?
At least three-quarters of the seats were empty. I don't recall seeing anyone in the second tier.
It's a nice looking ground. It would be great if Parra averaged 25k at the joint. The seats at Commbank are deceiving. They make it look like there's noone there when there's actually quite a decent number.
Yes but that is when most of the Freo & West Coast AFL games are played. We know from Storm games that crowds are down when you go head to head with AFL, for two reasons:-Thursday. the top tier looks heaps bigger but its not by that much, it's just steeper so it appears bigger on TVHow did the Parra vs St George game have 19k in attendance?

yes, beats that stupid 6pm game..... the extra game (if perth comes in it'll be 18 teams, 9 games) could be Saturday 1pm (I know it clashes with junior footy but that can replace 6pm as the "warriors" slot, the other half can be regional games)Yes but that is when most of the Freo & West Coast AFL games are played. We know from Storm games that crowds are down when you go head to head with AFL, for two reasons:-
1. Some sports fans would like to go to both (even more of a factor in a city with just two AFL teams
2. Getting in and out of HBF much more difficult with 50K just across the river.
As someone who priorities crowds over TV, you must agree PR.
Perhaps the NRL could change how they do Friday nights. 7.05pm kick off in the east, followed by a 9.05 kick off in Perth (7.05pm local time). Or even Sat nights.
heavy rain tipped Thursday in Newy & will knock that number around unfortunately , would have cracked 20K on a fine nightRound 5 Predictions:
Knights v Sea Eagles 16k
Warriors v Cowboys 4k
Broncos v Roosters 32k
Raiders v Storm 9k
Rabbitohs v Dragons 13k
Titans v Eels 14k
Sharks v Tigers 12k
Bulldogs v Panthers 14k
