How about clubs go back to just one jersey with an alternate if it clashes with another club. As the Raiders once had. All these different jumpers are just grabs for cash and dilutes the identity of each club.

I actually don’t even mind clashes when they’re both wearing their home kits, it’s when an away, alt or special jersey clashes that it annoys me

Hard to fathom clubs thinking. Storm “oh were playing warriors who’ll be in part blue jerseys and blue shorts. I know lets make our Anzac jersey blue as well” seriously all the colours in the rainbow and they picked the same as their opposition!

Every major foreign kit producer half arses their stuff in the Australian/Tasman sporting market. Same thing happens in other smaller sporting markets like the Canadian and Irish leagues as well.

There simply isn't the money in the market for them to bother putting any real effort into it, which is why such partnerships are generally one sided and/or short lived until they go back to focusing exclusively on the larger international leagues and are quickly replaced with a smaller or local producer who has more skin in the game.

on a related note, it’s funny that a club originating from REDcliffe have two sponsors with huge blue logos. Really clashes on the heritage jersey they showed yesterday.

also that able Bet logo looks so similar to the old Sportingbet one..

So the Rabbitohs indigenous jersey is "honouring our mothers and the women in our lives" and the Titans indigenous jersey is "celebrating 15 years of the Titans". There are now so many special jersey rounds that the clubs themselves are starting to get confused.
