Why do Fox not include Kayo. Can they not provide the break down or just not willing to?

they either dont want to or the NRL isnt releasing it. We do get more AFL data from Kayo than we do for the NRL - but not by much. Smaller codes get nothing.

Why would the NRL not release it , they're killing the opposition on it haha.. All opposition , quite obviously its something else.

I can only compare the amount of data released by the codes and Kayo. the AFL seems to get and release more Kayo information than the NRL does. I mean look at last year, there was a data dump for round 1 for both codes, then another after magic round, then the AFL released information for week 1 and 2 of its finals series, the NRL/Kayo didnt.

But this is actually true of just about anything data related between the codes if you actually care to look.

160K STV average week one trials
looks like that will be surpassed in week 2

Overnight Fox ratings for Week 1 averaged 95,000.
Consolidated +7 ratings for Week 1 push that to just over 100k, with Kayo pushing that to 137k.

Week 2 overnights are up 39% though.

Note: Using the data from last year to the end of magic round, we could infer that Kayo makes 37% of the terrestrial rating total (match average inc kayo was 374k - Fox box average of 237k to the end of round 10) - anything else is pulling figures out of ones arse.

I can only imagine Fox dont want the share market to know how many people are abandoning expensive satellite tv for the much cheaper streaming option?

That’s not bad considering two Sydney clubs were playing. Regionals should be good. No doubt FOX would be down a little due to Kayo.
I do hope they start releasing the streaming numbers, both Fox & Nine, to get a better understanding of just where the ratings sit.

Well over a million when you include Streaming.
Pretty good numbers overall.

Kayo estimated 95K plus hahahaha

the figures are consistently 60% of the foxtel number
so thats 150K
youd think so, currently about 8-10% of foxtel subscribers watch NRL games. Kayo has 1 million subscribers, but given its a sports channel you'd expect more to watch NRL than for Foxtel? 150k a game would be 15% of the subscribers
