On form you would think Manly will bounce back but the Sombreros have way too much experience to fall on their ass two weeks in a row. Hardest game of the round to tip. Going the Rorters barely.

Manly gave the Roosters a nasty touch up in week 2 of the finals last year and will bring an almost identical side this time. The Roosters have Keary and Manu back, and Connor Watson, but it doesn't seem like enough. I don't think they'll be able to stop Turbo carving them up.

Also SST and Collins.

Walker didn't start either

Morris, keighran, iku, lam, Hutchison, marschke and liu all started in that game.

Manly will probably win but don't think that finals game will be any indicator of how it will go.

Clash of the spoon contenders here judging by round 1 performances!

Manly by a 4 in a bludger of a game, Trent Robinson should be nervous the pressure is building.

From 2018 thru to and including 2020, the Roosters lost their first match in those seasons (they won in 2021). Only in 2020 did they lose its Round 2 game also.

This Year?

Roosters and Manly have had some of the most epic tense, low scoring games.
This won't be one of them. I reckon the Roosters come out firing like Shazza from Housos when she finds out Dazza has smoked the whole stash.

Roosters squad trimmed (source: https://www.roosters.com.au/news/2022/03/15/nrl-line-up-for-round-2-vs-sea-eagles/) -

The Roosters' side to take on the Manly Sea Eagles at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Friday night has been trimmed 24 hours prior to kick-off.

Trent Robinson's side remains 1-17 as named on Tuesday.

Lachlan Lam, Naufahu Whyte, Adam Keighran, Renouf Atoni and Ben Marschke drop off the extended bench with Kevin Naiqama and Daniel Suluka-Fifita retained as 18th and 19th man respectively.
