Panthers had 55% possession
6-1 penalties

Correct. Fox sports website has this breakdown

The 2nd half was all attacking the Storm line. If Storm were attacking the Panthers line then the penalties would of been the opposite.

If Klein or Sutton is ref then they aren't going to bin you. So you go for it

Yeah.
And Smith accidentally got kicked in the face. So that's not a penalty
Face it you merkins were given the every chance by that ref and couldn't muster a single point

Sutton ruined what should have been a great game. He allowed Melbourne to slow the game to a crawl.
It seems awfully coincidental that whenever Melbourne is under pressure on their goal line and needs an extended break that their trainer calls for a HIA for a standing player who the stays on the field.
Surely the player should be off the field to conduct the HIA and play continue.

Lol. Did you actually watch the game or just the stats? They don’t tell the whole story?

How do you gain territorial dominance? Often by controlling the ruck. The Panthers did that in the second half, assisted ably by Gerard Sutton who had no issues with their constant holding down, second efforts, you name it.

Much like the Roosters game, Sutton gave the Panthers a massive leg up tonight. They just weren’t good enough to take advantage.

Good grief. You watched a different game. Literally none of that is true.

Skeepe, were you there? At the ground it was obvious that Melbourne were intent on slowing the game. And the HIAs are a joke and something needs to be done to stop their rorting of the system.

What game were you watching? Not the one tonight, that's for sure.

Didn't say you weren't missing quality.

In terms of importance to the team losing Cleary, Luai, Edwards (7,6,1) as well as James Fisher Harris (Top 3 prop), Taylan May (Panthers strike weapon and top try scorer) was worse than what you guys were missing.

Still congrats to you guys. Bellamy has finally got your team in order after the shambles you were for a while there.
We just couldn't take a trick with injury. Paps,is pretty important for our team,

Yeah a start would be that opposition players don't target Storm players heads

I was at the game you f**k stick.

500 extra run metres.
Double the kick return metres... let me guess that is all Sutton too?

Are you honestly saying that there were only 3 ruck infringements in the whole game?, and there were no offsides other than one at a scrum?
Which game did you watch? Certainly not the one that Sutton just reffed with the slowest PTBs all season.
And watch where Melbourne calls for HIAs - always close to their line when they are under pressure!
Melbourne were the better side against an under strength team, no doubt about it, but Sutton lets them get away with whatever they want, especially in defence.
