Why would you have even believed option 1 was a legitimate outcome? South’s are nothing more than a 12-8th ceiling/floor side on this roster.

I'm the furthest thing from a Broncos fan but they are a genuine threat for a top 4 finish on this form, especially when you look at their favourable upcoming draw and probable low origin representation. Souffs will struggle to make the 8 considering they will get a few key players picked for origin.

Im not that surprised at all. They do not have a lot now. Grave danger of missing the 8...the will miss it if one or both of walker/trell continues to be out for long stretches.
