Fullback Curtis Wilson and halfback Blake Goodman both failed to finish the game for Hills.

Not sure whether they're injured and will miss the grand final? Strange calls to bring them off if they weren't hurt.
There were a couple of Bulls players placed on report also. It will be interesting to see what their squad will be.

Wilson was injured - did not go back after half time. Unsure about Goodman but he had a poor game. Hills SS team was understrength as Narayan, Smith and Scigiltano all had to play RMC yesterday.

Is the GF on tomorrow? anyone know who is playing?

After going out backwards in the RMC, St Marys had 6 players in Penrith's NSW Cup semi final win today, with most of the Penrith regulars playing NRL.

Bit of a nail biter in the RM grand final on Sunday. Some interesting decisions along the way but thats football.
Defence was the highlight with both teams not giving much.
I think Glebe really missed Travers in the last 20 when they had opportunities to level. But that's a bit hard with a broken arm.
It was a hard physical game but I thought played in a great spirit and some pretty lively banter going back and forth from the ground, sometimes funny but generally respect in that way that crowd banter can be.
A couple of the older ladies on the fence supporting Hills should probably up their vocabulary a bit as they forgot words and were just screeching at the end, amusing though.
I do think the hills blue shirt needs a good hard look at himself though, some of the language used towards the opposition bench was pretty ordinary at best and the carryon in the last 10 mins was more akin to a bad circus clown than a sports trainer at the semi professional level.

Anyway good luck to Hills in the Presidents Cup over the next few weeks.

Presidents Cup

Maitland 52 Forbes 6
Hills 26 Collegians 16

Massive difference of class at Parkes. Maitland was the only team of the 4 finalists that played their GF last week and yet did not choose to rest players with 17 from the 18 from the GF appearing.

Hills, on the other hand, were missing Curtis Wilson, Alofi Mataele, Henry Rawalui, Blake Goodman and Eton Lindsay from their GF team. Regardless, they led 10-0 in the first 10 minutes and following interchanges, Lasalo scored from his first touch to extend it to 14-0. Collegians, looked slow in the first half when they had the ball, after having to defend against the Hill's glut of possession. The home side improved considerably in the 2nd half when their backs looked superior to the understrength Hills backline.

Hills will need everyone available if they are serious about challenging Maitland next week.

Fun concept but I'd like to see a round-robin to expose these teams to all the other competitions. It's 3 extra games, then a grand final. Maybe start their own seasons earlier to accommodate?
