That is a weird one, I wouldnt mind seeing Staines at centre tbh he has all the required skills assuming he can read the play, still it seems a weird to me against a pretty tough Parra pack.

We are resting him due to a sore wrist. Not sure he works on the bench with Eisenhuth/Leinu in the team. Not many minutes available

A lot different jamming in on the wing every so often to having to actually really make decisions regularly.

Centres often have to jam in on the 2nd rowers at times. Not sure staines is capable of bringing blokes down 20kgs heavier than him. Even some centres have 10kgs on him. Having to make 12 to 20 tackles in a position hes never played and hes missing probs 30 or 40%.

Turuva isnt ready for fg centre either. Its wing or fb for him atm.

Id have given Jenkins a crack. Hes big enough. Actually has played a lot of centre. Will be here next year unlike rennings and most likely staines.

Charlies been great on the wing and fb in cup but hes not a centre.

Tago has basically been one of the best centres in the comp.. is he eligble for rookie of the year still?

Another option id like to see is taylan at centre. He is strong and plays well above his weight. And has played a lot of centre.

If the rumours are true critta might go my first choice backline to try would be

Short term he is just a fill in. Like with May in 7 last year. Wasted chance to blood someone
