would be surprised if every ticket isn't sold well before the first ball is kicked
150K for the 3 days

which will actually bring the average down for 2023 lol
But ppl watching on TV will definitely go to a game after seeing the atmosphere, so hopefully that results in an increase long term over the next few rounds after it

City of over half a million people, that's a very f**king ordinary crowd figure.

Looks like there's more dragons fans there as well.

Here's a thought have a magic round in NZ,Melbourne,Perth,Adelaide. Have four magic rounds during the season lol...nice way to spread the gospel...

Having 2 isn’t the worst idea. Evens the amount of home games back up instead of half the teams having one less home game. One in Brisbane, spread the other one around between Auckland, Perth, Adelaide & Melbourne assuming those cities put up some money for it.

Yeh pretty disappointing that one, I was expecting 16-20k. Some minor excuses like people being away for Easter, people saving for the Broncos next week but all things considered pretty average.

where does that leave us beating the crowd record?
we were only a slim chance anyway
& after that very poor effort on the Gold Coast , we'd need over 40K on Monday which obviously isn't going to happen

we're on 139K atm
hopefully 20K plus in Newie & maybe 25K tomorrow & we get to around 185K

We are going to have this going through expansion. The Titans has never won anything to solidify thier fan base , the novelty has worn off having a team and they've been ordinary for a decade.
It's going to be 12k 🤷‍♂️
We've got to be prepared to cop that through expansion years.
Dolphins will probably go through it too until they find success.

The NRL should take a record of this years attendance for all clubs and offer $20 per head passed that for the following year, repeat that process indefinitely.
Clubs need to be insensitivised to grow crowds , only way that happens is with $
Otherwise they are forced to weigh up marketing costs and ticketing revenue to the point now where crowds stagnate.
We need to tip the balance in favour of numbers through the gate and create a going to the game culture.

season opener magic round in auckland and then Christchurch when new stadium is opened.
