Panthers crew tried - they weren’t the problem. Problem was Young’s discipline, Fox’s defence and Teddy over all.
Young’s discipline? Did you actually watch the game?

He gave away one penalty for a strip, and that was only because TPJ ignored the call to drop off the tackle. Haas knew what was going on and it would have been a massive play for NSW

How can anybody organise an attack that stands so flat they can only walk on to the ball. It is obviously a Fittler ploy which doesn’t work.
Fittler is not a good coach anymore. He doesn’t know how foootball is played these days. Barefoot in the grass is great for kids but SOO?

They had an overlap because Hynes missed a tackle
JAC should’ve done better but Teddy is a terrible last line of defence

Terrible performance from him

Don't deny it. It's the first time we can say that

Meanwhile... the halfback is going to get a free ride again

Too many injured or underdone players returning from injury and others playing out of position

My biggest gripe with what SOO has become is that it has moved from a representative side to its own "club" where coaches are selectors and decide who they want for combinations etc.

The coaches should have no say.

A combined selection committee should be rewarding the best 34 New South Welshmen and Queenslanders at the time based on form, and then coaches get their 17 players to coach.

"Combinations", "incumbency" or "past deeds" should have nothing to do with representative footy. Selection, IMHO, should be a reward for what you have done in the NRL that season.
I'm so sick of hearing the "Penrith connection". It's never worked??? But we must keep picking guys based on this solid connection

Can't be asking why the coach dumps a teams right edge on the left eliminating their combinations and comfort?

NSW spent 80 minutes with Fox, To'o and Critter out of position. And 80 minutes with a reserve grade fullback captaining the team to a loss.

Queensland deserved the win. Fittler is dumb for not utilising club combinations and Teddy is just absolutely terrible. He wasn't the only bad player. But if he wasn't a ball hog the result is different.
Literally had Martin Luai Crichton To’o next to eachother for 55 mins, how’s that eliminating club combos?

They trained and prepped with those edges Al week until 2 days ago when fatty pulled out. Would’ve been worse shifting Turbo and Jac over to Luai’s side.
