Manly have a worse record than roosters in round 1, they haven't had a win since 2013.

I think they will break that streak this year. I do think Dogs will be big improvers this year but I also think the same for Manly. The trial against the chooks showed they are wanting to start fast.

Manly should do this assuming that guy plays, even if he doesnt they probably get it done. Im nowhere near as hot on the Bulldogs as everyone else seems to be.

I wish we had some spark at fullback, but it's nice to have a hooker who wants to get involved in the attack for once. I think it'll take time for us to get the combinations right anyway.

Our defensive effort will be there but wait and see approach for mine. Manly always seem to have weird / or weak sides on paper but they manage to control possession and attack like crazy with Turbo and DCE. I can see the same happening here.

Will be an interesting game, not sure if it will be high quality or rubbish.
The feeling I get is the Dogs will grow into this year and get better. Some of their star signing could turn out to be duds.
The Sea Eagles will come out in a flourish and die in the ass quicker than whipped cream in a sand storm. seibold is a crap coach and will get found out as his team grows into mediocrity as the year progresses
