We have been absolute poo in round 1 under Robbo with a 3-7 record including losses against the tigers and Knights in the last 5 years.

We play them again late in the season and we will put the cleaners through them there.

Anything could happen in this one, we won't play well, it is just the Robbo way. We should still have enough to win but a loss wouldn't shock me.

The gold tipped dragons with a dubious late legup to get the ferrero rochers. The pièce de résistance will be the presser from red faced Robbo.

As Valheru pointed out the Roosters under Robbo have always been slow starters, I think we'll win here but it'll be 1-12.

Happy to be proven wrong though, would love to see the Roosters get up by 30, 40 or 50.

It will be interesting to see what team the Roosters trot out.
Will Manu and Keary be fit to play ? Angus more than likely missing for a bit, what will the centre combination be especially if Manu doesn't play ? Should still be a comfortable 30 pt win by the Roosters.

Keary yes manu no I suspect.

We do look thin in the 2nd row with both crighton and tupouniua out for tglhe start of the season. Having said that Nat Butcher has come along really nicely, especially defensively and it's a good opportunity to look at the likes of Whyte and Wong.

Roosters have lost to some pretty horrible Newcastle and Tigers teams in Round 1 over the past couple of years.

The Dolphins wont do a lot this year but Bennett will have something in store for round 1. They wont win but I think the +19.5 is overs. Easts ultimately too much class.

Roosters by 12.

Dolphins to flip the table on the Roosters with a fast start and hold on for the win 16-12. They'll also win the combined penalty and set restart count.
