NZRL?

I thought the ARLC took back the responsibility for tickets for this competition?
Nah, the NZRL is still primarily in control of all home tests. They maybe getting assistance from the ARLC/NRL, but the referee will be wearing NZRL apparel, there will be NZRL sponsors on the field & it is the NZRL managing the allocations on Ticketek.

I'm pretty sure it was a News beat up. Even if it was true, there is a contract in place between the NRL, Sky & NZRL which guarantees the NZRL a minimum of two home tests each non-RLWC year which can be commercialised by the NZRL.

Headingly capacity is 19600 so claims it was close to selling out are bs

If Tonga v Australia sells out it’s going to be an amazing atmosphere

Can the Tongan diaspora in Sydney show up like their brethren in Auckland did

Imagine Tonga v Samoa in next year's Pac Cup? Atmosphere is Origin level between the two
Fans of both Tonga and Samoa line the streets cheering the team bus arrivals.

its a bucket list game for sure, Samoa v Tonga at Mt Smart.

heard a few kiwis fans today say last night was the first v Tonga game they’ve attended and atmosphere was insane.

other bucket list games are attending a catalans game and watching a dolphins game from the pub balcony at the southern end of the ground.
