It’s the vibeWhat makes you think Perth would be interested in supporting a sht part time Sydney club?

That's disappointing. Both clubs had been working hard to make it a bigger event this year, with all ticketed Eels members getting a ticket to the match at Allianz. Whilst I'm sure it will be honoured, I don't know if the take up will be as high. The Rabbitohs have confirmed their R12 Indigenous Game vs Parramatta will be held at Accor Stadium on Saturday 25 May 2024:
Rabbitohs Confirm Indigenous Round Game to Be Played at Accor Stadium in Rd 12 – South Sydney Rabbitohs
The South Sydney Rabbitohs have today confirmed that their round 12 home game against the Parramatta Eels in the NRL’s Indigenous Round will be played at Accor Stadium on Wangal/Gadigal land, the Rabbitohs’ current home ground, on Saturday 25 May at 7:35pm.www.rabbitohs.com.au
This game was possibly going to be held at Allianz Stadium, but due to a late season surge by Sydney FC in the A-League, they have priority over the Rabbitohs on this date (should the stadium be needed for A-League finals series).
The ANZAC game isn't our home game this year so perhaps not as big a deterrent as it would be if it were a chooks home game.Roosters game enjoyed some decent sales last night with the 20% off offer. Biggest thing hurting this game is the fact the ANZAC Day match is only next week. The match has definitely moved a lot more tickets than what the Waratahs had last Friday (which named 12,894) so assuming the same method of counting is used 14-16K is definitely in the mix. Corporates for Thursday have sold well, so that should ensure there will be some people on Level 2.
Isn’t the AFL game played in front of 90k white people? The NRL Anzac Day game shits all over the fumbleball Anzac Day game.
We have the crowds and the tv eyeballs and a national and international profile that AFL can only drool over.
Yes but they dont count.Isn’t the AFL game played in front of 90k white people?
My strange Victorian brother in law became deeply offended when he said "My family have been Essendon supporters since 1889" and I burst out laughingYes but they dont count.
They are bolted ons whos fathers fathers fathers fathers barracked for the same team
Besides which there is nothing else to do in Melbourne as it is bleak city.
Lol. So true. A lot of them are extremely inbreed down south of the border. They are not allowed to marry supporters outside their family team.My strange Victorian brother in law became deeply offended when he said "My family have been Essendon supporters since 1889" and I burst out laughing
We got 19k against them in a 2013 regular season game. The ANZAC game isn't our home game this year so perhaps not as big a deterrent as it would be if it were a chooks home game.
I'm hoping for 15k too and that would be a phenomenal result.
This fixture has been played 16 times in Sydney and the only 3 occasions it has got more than 15k were the 2015 QF, 2018 GF and 2019 PF. The regular season games have more often than not got under 10k, so 15k on a Thursday would speak volumes of the job the club has done to form an attendance culture as well as the value of the new stadium.
Sorry, my bad, missed that one.We got 19k against them in a 2013 regular season game.
No choice. Beggars can’t be choosersWhat makes you think Perth would be interested in supporting a sht part time Sydney club?
Ask him what the teams original nickname was..........My strange Victorian brother in law became deeply offended when he said "My family have been Essendon supporters since 1889" and I burst out laughing
2 things I like to say is sod the Asshole League and sod Accor. The Rabbitohs have confirmed their R12 Indigenous Game vs Parramatta will be held at Accor Stadium on Saturday 25 May 2024:
