Stick to trials in regional centres.
I don't mind premiership matches in regional centres during Origin / mid-season lull. If games are at least taken to reasonable sized venues, like Scully Park in Tamworth or Cex International Stadium in Coffs Harbour, the game still gets a 5 figure crowd and the opportunity cost can be minimal.

IMO smaller venues, like Salter Oval, should only be getting trials or NRLW matches.

I understand why it’s done but yesterday looked like amateur hour. Made shark park look like Allianz Stadium.

Will be interesting to see the split between Wests and Souths supporters in Campbelltown. Apparently Souths have a lot of their membership base in the South-Western Suburbs, yet until tonight, Souths haven't played at Campbelltown since 1999
Yep, a lot of support around Campbelltown

I can hang shit on the Dragons but what moron is scheduling a match at WIN and then Shark Park as the ONLY two matches of a day?

HOME CITY AVERAGES
1723968672450.png

Tigers need to pull at least 9,200 from their last home game of the season against Parra to avoid the attendances wooden spoon.

A crowd of 49,500 will see the Dolphins' average jump from 9th in the league to 3rd behind the Broncos and Warriors and will be about 3,500 above the Broncos' average in their second season (1989). It will also mean their Suncorp average will jump above 25k.

If Dogs can average 21,519 from their final two home games at Accor, they'll average 20k in Sydney for the year.

Well done to the Roosters who have all but guaranteed 20k in Sydney this year. Anything above 4,950 in their final game against the Raiders will do it.

An unlikely crowd of 27,800 from the Storm against the Dolphins will see them average 20k in Melbourne for the year. However, there are good times ahead for the Storm as it is likely they'll have a once in a lifetime opportunity to have Melbourne to themselves for the finals series.

If it ends up dogs 5th and dragons 8th the game should crack 30k at accor

or do dogs go for belmore and more of a home ground advantage
