Makes sense to do it that way. Broadcasters will be happy with having Australia playing the 2pm (ish) & 4pm (ish) time slots.

I was going to say that is going to be a pretty empty stadium for Kiwis v PNG. I get the lead into the news that 9 wants but the Pacific Cup needs to be in a prime time slot, it's supposed to be a major final.

NRL has just released all the held back seats for next week's Final.

Very few Bronze seats left, same with Diamond & Gold.

Looks like about 1000 tickets maximum remaining. if anyone is planning on going, I would buy today.

I think part of it is the western Sydney location though. Although I think it is a little insulting if they thought that the Islander diaspora wouldn’t travel to the city. I’m just guessing on this though.

Comm bank was the correct choice for this game, ppl are quickly forgetting the abismal crowds last year.

in coming years when the tournament starts gaining momentum we can move to bigger stadiums.

the dream would be to one day sell out accor, maybe by 2040 this could happen
