First GF I won’t be watching. Made the decision 3 weeks ago knowing that this would be the match up to take a job next Sunday night. My 2 most hated teams. Really don’t give a shit who wins, but I guess I marginally lean to storm just to stop the 4-peat, plus think the Melbourne spine is about 10-15% stronger presently than Penrith.

Another thing I hate about our GFs is this 7:30pm kickoff rubbish that probably ends up starting at 7:40pm.

GFs should be 3pm kickoff not sure what time it was in the 80s and 90s before they moved it to night.

But fmd by the time the game starts your almost ready for bed or pissed already.

The Storm have come up with some very opponent specific tactics in their two final performances. Their specific targetting of Roosters players defensively was rather sublime. I suspect they'll have something waiting for the Panthers too.

At this present time the Panthers have won 3 GFs, but none against the Storm so far.

$1.92 each in the betting tells you what a cracking game this should be.

I'm expecting a close one this year - happy for Penrith to win the 4-peat, as they've been a great squad in that time (and will dive downwards next year if Talagi is their replacement for Luai, and with Fish and a few others leaving).

I don't understand how anyone can like the Storm after they cheated and stole a premiership off us. Yet all those players who didn't know why boats where turning up in driveways have media jobs.
Honestly my most hated club. They robbed us and Manly of a grand final. It makes me sick to think about.

Penrith like us where basically rubbish for long stretches like 2005 untill 2019 never a threat. I think what they've done is an inspiration to everyone else. A side barely making finals built themselves from the ground up. Win or lose they are the best side in history of game under salary cap era.
I think Storm are to good this year. But Penrith are a chance.

I get that you are the LU Panthers Lobbyist, but those merkins were chanting “we hate parramatta” and “little brother” after the GF. They have sealed the vault. There is no possibility of friendship / support with that smug playing group. It’s done merkin.

Even worse you have to put up with the Ch 9 coverage.

I do miss the 3pm kick off and I actually liked the twilight games they brought in for a few years. I personally preferred the atmosphere of those games then the ones in the 7.30pm timeslot.
