This would be good news for future RL Internationals

100%

offers the RFL the option of playing a 3 test series against both the Aussies&kiwis with games opening in London then moving onto either Everton(Liverpool) or etihad(Manchester) for the 2nd test before finishing the series at elland rd(Leeds) for the 3rd test.

personally I’d like to see the RFL test the waters at the etihad stadium for the 2026 kiwi test series.

Great position to be in with around 90,000 tickets sold with over 6 months to go.

If we sell on average 378 tickets every day now, we will sell out...

This shows the potential of international rugby league esp in England

International games in London were a great way to generate new rugby league fans and showcase the game to a new audience

Compared to the buzz and clamour created for tickets with the pre-sales numbers sold the general sales numbers and media hype seems to have been a bit of a damp squib.

or am I being unfair?

fans have splashed out for everton, headingly and magic weekend. In a couple of months I expect to see Wembley start to gather momentum.

Hope you’re right and that Everton is not where the majority of northern based fans are headed for this series.

We chose to go to wembley over the headingly game. Be mad not to. First test matches at Wembley have usually been belters.
I’ve got the Saturday off work booked and just waiting for my useless arse mate to confirm he can come.

im seriously thinking about just booking 2 tickets and being a Jim bates and just giving my spare ticket away for free if he can’t make it.

I don’t mind losing £67 for the England RL cause . lol
