Storm v Panthers is so far trending similar to Storm v Eels in Round 1, with lower bowl sideline seats either sold out or down to single seats in all bays except corners. Bronze seats are down to single seats and we're selling into the last 5-6 rows in the gold middle bays on both sides.
Not ideal that it's going head to head with Carlton v Hawthorn across the road, and Thursday night can have an effect on the ability for members to walk up. Getting to 20K isn't unrealistic however.
For
Warriors v Roosters, most of the sales are in the south bay. For some reason the seats in the western upper, like last game, are just not moving. Game is trending ahead of last Friday's match, so hopefully will be pushing towards 23K+.
Titans v Knights is not moving... the first 20 minutes against the Bulldogs last week has possibly scared off anyone who isn't a diehard, that and the crazy ticket prices ($104 to sit on the halfway line). On the plus, memberships for the club are up between 20-25% at the same point last year (
https://www.titans.com.au/news/2025/03/17/gold-coast-back-and-ready-for-live-sport-mitchell/), so hopefully that means their baseline of 13K for a lot of early games last year at Cbus is closer to 14-15K.
Sea Eagles v Raiders is on track for another sell out. Very little in the stands, only thing stopping Sea Eagles hitting 17K+ is weather.
Dolphins v Wests Tigers has around 30 single seats left, so will be a sell out.
Sharks v Rabbitohs is down to single seats in the stands and only GA everywhere else.
For Sharks v Rabbitohs, Sharks website (
https://www.sharks.com.au/the-stadium/sharks-stadium) is reporting that the reduced capacity for the stadium is 15,000. Last year, same page had this at 13,500, so hopefully this means we're looking at more like 14K for Saturday's game versus 12K.
