This appears to be a perfect example of somebody posting feelings over facts.

The Raiders have hosted Souths 14 times at GIO/Canberra since 2000, and have worn their home jersey on all but two occasions. Between 2006 and 2019, Souths wore an alternate jersey every time (either black, white or red base). I don't quite understand why they've worn home jerseys since 2019 prelim to now, but it hasn't changed Canberra's home jersey being worn.

Oh and the two occasions Canberra didn't wear their home jersey?

- In 2010, the Rabbitohs bought their white alternate jersey and wore it, but the Raiders wore their black alternate strip anyway.
- In 2005, the Raiders wore a black indigenous jersey (presumably a choice), so the Rabbitohs wore their home jersey.

So your claim that the Rabbitohs have rocked up in Canberra with a green jersey and forced the Raiders to wear an alt is DEBUNKED.
I wish the Raiders had stuck with using black for their away/alternate. It mixes with the light green really nicely

100% agree. The current jumper, while yes, being ACT colours, is to anyone's naked eye, a Bulldogs-style jersey. Should be junked at the first opportunity they get.

I think there’s still enough room in the comp for another red team. I’d like to see:
Dolphins
Home - Main: red, Secondary: gold, Trim:white
Away - Main: White, Secondary: red, Trim: gold
Alternate - Main: Black, Trim: red and gold
Bears
Home - Main: Red and black, Secondary: White,
Away - Main: Black, trim: red
Alternate - Main: white, Secondary: red, Trim: black
PNG
Home - Main: yellow, trim: white
Away - Main: white, trim: yellow
Alternate - Main: black, trim: yellow

As long as all 3 teams make sure they have away and alternate jerseys that are vastly different to their home kits, then clashes will still be easy to avoid. But knowing how things go in the NRL they’ll probably all have their away with basically same percentage difference of their colours as their home (like the Cowboys and Sea Eagles have done with their current home and away kits)

But I’d really like to see PNG try something different. It’s been really cool to see the Dolphins enter and now having the Bears on their way too, but both of them already have a fairly set identity, so we haven’t really had much excitement about seeing a new look and new colours in the comp. And realistically, PNG probably aren’t going to be around in 20 years time so they might as well get crazy with it.

Purple, Green and White
Black, Teal and Orange
Olive, Black and Beige
Jade, Black and White
Teal, Purple and White
Green, Teal and Black
Maroon and Teal
Rose, Black and White
Jade, Aztec Gold and Black
Orange, Yellow and White

An interesting and unique colourway could really set this club apart from all the other same old standard Rugby League looks that we’re all use to. A nice teal/jade with Purple and white would be my preference

Souths are teasing a heritage jersey inspired by the 1995 World Sevens, to be released on Tuesday.

To be worn vs the Raiders in Round 14:

Personally, I don't get the non-ironic love of 90s gear. It was hideous then and it's hideous now. But to each their own!

The world 7s stuff is really getting a run. This must be the third or fourth club to bring it back as a retro or heritage.

Just for @The Great Dane's benefit:

In round 14, the Rabbitohs NRL team will wear a jersey pulled straight from the 90s. And we want you to get your hands on it first.

Bulldogs back in butcher stripes tomorrow night

Make sure you're at Accor Stadium on Friday night well before kick-off as we celebrate and honour our proud 90 Year history with a light show like no other!

Be in your seats at 7:30pm as a number of the Club's legendary captains including George Peponis, Terry Lamb, James Graham and Josh Jackson will be taking the field in a pre-game extravaganza - before forming a guard of honour as the team runs out.

Bulldogs Members and supporters will not want to miss out on this special event!

The NRL side will also be donning the 1935 Commemorative Jersey as we honour every single player who has worn the famous Blue and White over the last 90 years.
