Thank you for going right again

At least DylBro and JAC can marshall the line a bit

You’re pushing the agenda too hard, it’s too early to call so definitively.

Agenda? Can you tell what the game plan is supposed to be? Even with T-Baz you could see his game plan. We have nothing, this is Kearney level

But you’re supposed to look like shit so early into an attempted culture change.

I think we’re better off trying to score from outside the 20. Our adlib footy looks so good at the moment, but as soon as we get into the red zone it’s crash ball time.

The thing most surprising for me is how disorganised the Eels defence is considering how much time Ryles has spent in the Roosters and Storm systems.

Raiders broken field play is getting a lot of help from poor individual missed tackles, makes it hard for me to get too hot on them. I can see them putting on many big scores against poor teams but wilting quietly against better opposition in big games.

But I’m being harsh, it’s early in the season, they’ve time to pull it together.

Stats don’t always tell the full story, but the Eels forwards are getting absolutely destroyed out there. Just look at the starting packs.

Horsburgh 137 metres
Tapine 101
Papalii 85
Nicholson 85
Young 83

vs

Hopgood 37 metres
Kautoga 33
Paulo 24
Lane 19
Ofahengaue 17

Absolutely nothing your halves can do with that disparity.

34 missed tackles to 8 too.
