God I'd just love to see one of our young guns absolutely monster NAS to the point he has to go off the field, will happily cop the sin bin 😅

Given we haven't beaten them in a decade, it's no surprise we are rank outsiders (even though we are top 4 right now!), but those juicy odds for 13+ ($12.50 on NZ Tab) are hard to resist just to really super jinx the Warriors hah!

Surely we are due to pull their purple pants down like Andrew Johns suggested 🤣

According to Johns we are a bogey team for Melbourne.

interesting since we haven’t beaten them for a decade.
There was a period you definitely were our bogey side! But yeah, going back 15 years now

Warriors were the Storm's kryptonite from 1998-2010. They hated playing us and I remember Bellamy acknowledged they would always try to aim up for our clashes and put more emphasis when meeting up during the season.

2011-2025 has totally switched up, with the ruck cheaters been so dominant against the way we play.

I want to win this one so badly of any team we play during any season. On that note I have tipped the Storm to give me some sort of victory from this game. If we win, I think I'd shed some happy tears.

Did we win more during 1998 - 2002 when Bellamy wasn't the coach? I will look it up later have some errands to run.

50% of the teams coming off the bye have won the following week. The only team Storm has played off the bye absolutely dicked them. Wahs coming off the bye... Storm by 14.

Warriors get a ton of support in Melbourne and can take the crowd out of it if they keep it close but I think Melbourne just have too many weapons.

Storm 13+

Not only did our first win come after a week off following Vegas (not a bye, but basically a bye), but our three wins have also come against teams that won with high scores the prior week (Manly 42 v Cowboys, Roosters 38 v Panthers, Tigers 30 v Dolphins).

So Melbourne scoring big last week could also be an omen of Warriors breaking the streak 🙏
